Where we started
Our Company
Vlaamse Linne was a long established dynamic family business specializing in curtains and linen. Driekie joined the Company after the completion of her studies in Human Resource management in 1989.
Within this environment and under the skilled mentor ship of her mother, Driekie acquired an in depth knowledge of fabrics and colour combinations. It is here that her passion for interior decorating and designing was born and developed.
In 1993 Vlaamse Linne launched it’s interior decorating division, offering their clients a more comprehensive service and product range.
In 2003 Driekie saw a need in the market and hence the start of “House of Interiors” in Welkom.
The showrooms are extensive and have an inviting and homely atmosphere which has attracted a large client base.
Moving into the future
Our Company
Further expansion of the premises was inevitable and was realized in the first year of operation. Soon she changed the 200 m2 premises to a building of more than a 1000 m2 development and made sure that House of Interiors, was the “one stop interior shop” for all her customers’ interior needs.
In 2010 Driekie moved with her family to Bloemfontein and started a new branch. Today House of Interiors have an exquisite showroom in Brebner street where she offers her clients a full turnkey solution to all their interior needs.Her workshop is in Bainsvlei, where the manufacturing of all the curtains and accessories get done under Driekie’s watchful eye.
The scope of service has been enhanced to include a total service underpinned through the principles of effective Project Management to ensure the client visions are realized.
